In Memory Of
Morgan Ealom

Morgan Deanne Ealom, 15, of Overland Park, KS passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Morgan was born July 29, 1999 to Michael and Marcia Ealom in Overland Park, KS. She was a sophomore at Olathe East High School, previously attended California Trail Middle School and Bentwood Elementary.
“Mighty Morgan”, a name she so live up too, loved playing basketball, volleyball, soccer and softball with Lady Jays, Blue Jays , Red Hot’s, Blazers and Lady Tigers. Morgan had a deep passion for books and was an avid reader, loved volunteering, going to theater and movies. Morgan loved planning our vacations. She developed PowerPoint decks, setting up budgets and our itineraries. She especially enjoyed spending the holidays in Seattle. Morgan deep interest in Monkeys no matter real or stuffed was a great joy to her. Anyone that really knew her knows that purple was a way to her heart and could always start a conversation even when she would not talk of anything else. Must not forget her keychain collection from every state and town she visited. Morgan was a planner, saver and loved coordinating the weekly Walmart list. She loved being with her friends, their text and chit-chat were highlights for her. Finally, Morgan loved the Lord and was a member of Mt. Carmel COGIC.
Morgan showed great strength in the face of many days and nights of suffering. Everyone called her a trooper and was amazed by her positive attitude, courage and grace through her three year journey.
Morgan was preceded in death by her Aunt Katherine Thomas and Grandfather Alfred White.
Morgan is survived by her parents, Michael and Marcia Ealom, Brother Marcus Ealom, Grandmother Iona White, Aunts Rhoda Ransom (Michael), Toni Jackson (Jack), Sheila Crowell. Uncles Alfred White (Yvonne), Olie Ealom, Ray Bryant and several close cousins and other relatives.
