Wylena Burns, 80, Olathe, KS, passed away at her home on Wed., Nov. 19, 2008.
Wylena was born Feb. 6, 1928 in Eufaula, OK to Julius and Ruth Cowan. She was a 54-year resident of Olathe, KS. She was married to Lowell Burns on July 14, 1947, who preceded her in death in 2004. She was a devoted wife and mother.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Eddie Burns; sisters, Oleta Jackson, Velma Peters, Delka Cosgrove; brothers, Raymond Cowan and Alvin Cowan.
She leaves daughters, Sharon Burns, Vada Burns, Susan Burns, Caroline Kay (Ed) Burnett, Kathy (Carl) Halverson; grandsons, Jon, David, Steven Burnett, and Andrew Halverson; one sister, Wilma Polk; two brothers, Leroy Cowan and James Cowan.
