Wolfgang Brandner, who was born on July 23, 1946 in Wernigerode, Germany, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 16, 2022.
He graduated from Huntsville High School in 1964 and Birmingham Southern College in 1968. He subsequently worked for NASA in Huntsville, then for the EPA in Kansas City until his retirement. He was predeceased by his parents, Frederich Wilhelm Brandner and Anne Marie Brandner of Wagrain, Austria, and his son, Paul Michael Brandner of Olathe, Kansas.
He is survived by his wife Glenda Popejoy Brandner originally of Huntsville, Alabama and brother, Walter Brandner of Birmingham, Alabama.
