Wilma Shelton

Wilma Jean Shelton, 88, of Kansas City, MO passed away Saturday March 12, 2011 at North Kansas City Hospital. In addition to the services listed above there will also be Graveside services at 2PM Tuesday at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Coffeyville, KS a visitation will be held from 1-2PM Tuesday at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Coffeyville Chapel. Jean was born August 24, 1922 in Kansas City, MO. She lived most of her life in Coffeyville, KS. She married Edward M. Shelton March 14, 1941 in Little Rock, AR. She retired from Emerson Electric in Independence, KS. She was a devoted member of the Nazarene Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Overstreet (Ernest), of Kansas City, MO. Her sister JoAnne Housel, of Kansas City, MO. 3 granddaughters and 7 great grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews.
