William Henry Zeigler, 81, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. He was born on December 15, 1939 in Springhill, Louisiana to Brooks and Nona Mae (Duke) Zeigler.
He graduated DeLeon, LA High School, and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Mathematics Degree. He then attended Oklahoma State University and earned a masters degree in Statistics. William worked in the employee benefits and compensation area for his entire working career.
William is survived by his son, John (Elizabeth), daughters Jodi (Joe) Keirn, and Julie Zeigler. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren: Emma, Zoe, Wynne, Millie, Abbey, Grace, Violet, Darrin, and Daniel. He is also survived by his brother David (Chris), nephew and niece, Dick Wooten and Peggy Lee Mathews, brothers and sisters in law, Bill Anderson (Karen), Kay Moore (Mike), Steve Anderson, Mark Anderson, and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia Lynn Zeigler, parents Brooks and Nona Mae Zeigler, his brother Brooks and sister Elsie.
After retirement, William served as a lay pastor to a retirement home, served in prison ministry, and the Oklahoma City Rescue Mission. He shared his love of the Lord with many people and in many ways.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, Oklahoma.
