William "Bill" Fox, 71, Mission, Kansas, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice.
Bill was born September 21, 1939 in Trinidad, Colorado, grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and has lived in Mission, Kansas for the past 40 years. Following high school he served in the United States Air Force. He was a 1963 graduate of Conception Seminary in Conception, Missouri. He married Judy Clark August 13, 1966 in Mission, Kansas.
Bill taught school eight years at St. Agnes Catholic School. He retired in 1999 from Southwestern Bell as a Communications Consultant.
Bill was an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, and its' choir. He was a sports official in Missouri and Kansas athletic associations for over 25 years. He was also a Kansas City Hospice Volunteer.
Bill is survived by his wife Judy of the home, children; Jeanine M. (Terry) Turner, Overland Park, KS, John D. (Sylvia) Fox, Prairie Village, KS, and Joshua P. Fox of De Soto, Kansas, siblings; Don Fox, Olathe, KS, Doris Magerl, Prairie Village, KS, and John Fox, Napa, California, grandchildren; Stephanie, Courtney, Evelyn, Sarah and Billy.
