William "Bill" Yates

William "Bill" Randall Yates, 67, of Olathe, passed away on June 21, 2023 at Good Samaritan.
He was born on November 26, 1955 to Cole and Erna (Keyes) Yates in Kansas City, MO.
William worked as a Drafter for Water One until the time of his retirement in 2017.
In August of 1982, he married Barbara Mayden and they made their home in Olathe.
He enjoyed scuba diving, art of all kinds, trivia, puzzles, and movies.
William is survived by his loving daughter, Alex Yates, his mother, Erna Yates, and sister, Mary Beth Davis. The level to which he will be missed is indescribable.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barb, and his father.
