Weldon Hoyle

Weldon "Wink" Hoyle, passed away December 24, 2014 in Overland Park, Kansas.
He was born January 8, 1922 in Irene, TX to Herman and Sarah (Davis) Hoyle. He went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army, during WWII in the Pacific, returning home at the end of the war.
Weldon was married to Jeanette ( Briant) in 1950, and together they raised their family in the Kansas City and Overland Park areas.
He was employed as a distribution clerk with the US Postal service for over 23 years.
In his retirement, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, and serving in various positions with his church, First Baptist of Olathe.
Surviving are his children, Judy ( Gary) Barbosa, and Steven( Sharie) Hoyle, and grandchildren Nick, Drew, David, and Angela, and great-grandchildren Brock and Joey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette, in 2011, and brothers Hubert, Hulan, Marvin, and sisters Murle, Ernestine, Sue, and Hattie Rae.
Memorials are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation or to the church.
