Virginia Patterson

VIRGINIA RUTH PATTERSON, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2006.

Virginia was born December 22, 1922 in Claremore, Oklahoma to John L. and Ruth Wills. She married Charles F. Patterson on March 24, 1940. They made their home in Ottawa for 54 years, before moving to Spring Hill in 2000 to be near family. She worked for a few years in Cheney's Grocery in Ottawa, but devoted her life to raising her family. She was a member of Ocheltree Baptist Church since moving to the Spring Hill area.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Judy (Irvin) Middlebusher of Spring Hill, five grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 2005, her son, Victor, in 2006, her sister, Betty Rutledge and brother Robert Wills.
