Virgie Falk

Virgie A. (Teske) Falk, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 6, 2008 at her home. She was born on May 22, 1920 in Wheaton, Kansas to Elsie and Edward Teske. She was the oldest of eight children. Her mother passed away when Virgie was eleven years old. As the oldest she played an important role in raising her seven siblings. She married Louis F. Falk in 1943 (who preceded her in death in 1967). She was retired from First National Bank (now Bank of America) in Topeka.

She was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Topeka, Kansas.

She was also preceded in death by a brother; Floyd Teske.

She leaves two daughters; Karen Falk of the home, Susan (Bill) Jones of Lenexa, KS, brothers; Galen Teske, Alvin Teske, and Merle Teske, sisters; Doris Hammel, Laura Persell, and Rosella Peter, grandchildren; Matt, Nick and Kayla, great grandchildren; Charlotte and Kristen.

The family suggests contributions to the church.
