Virgia "Virginia" May Boyd, 88, of Olathe, KS went to be with her lord and savior and other family members on Monday January 21, 2013.
Virginia was born May 13, 1924 in Battlefield, MO to William and Nellie McConnell. She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Boyd, son William "Bill" Jimerson and daughter Estelle (Talley) Fredrickson and her parents.
She is survived by her son Charles and wife Sarah Jimerson, daughter Judy and husband Lonny Mays, two daughter in laws; Dorothy Jimerson and Rita Jimerson, two sisters; Inas Harper and Ermma Emerson. 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grand children and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia was a member of the World Wide Church of God since 1970 and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, loved by all and will be greatly missed.
