Vilasack Ting Khanchareun

Vilasack Ting Khanchareun, a devoted husband and father, passed away on August 22, 2021 at the age of 59.

Vilasack was born on March 6, 1962 in Champasak, Laos to Sibou and Phouang Khanchareun. He lived in Laos with his parents and six siblings before immigrating to America.

Vilasack never forgot where he came from. Growing up in Laos was something he always valued in life. He knew what it was like to grow up in a small, under-developed country. He understood that he and his family did not have much growing up but they always had each other.

Vilasack was a dedicated husband and father. He met his lovely wife in Laos. They got married and had three amazing sons. He loved his family deeply, they were the light of his life. Everything he did, he did for his wife and three sons.

Vilasack is survived by his loving wife, Chaemsay Khanchareun; sons, Noy Khanchareun, Phillip Khanchareun, and Ellis Khanchareun.

Funeral services will be held starting at 1:00pm Friday, August 27, 2021, at Penwell Gabel's Olathe Chapel.
