In Loving Memory of a Cherished Father and Grandfather
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Vesselin Tzvetnaov, who left us peacefully on April 3, 2024, at the Kansas University Medical Center, following complications from a brain aneurysm. Born on April 18, 1951, in Pancherevo to Verka and Anani Tzvetanovi, he lived a life full of passion, love, and dedication to his family and ventures.
He embarked on a lifelong journey with Penka Toneva on March 5, 1978, building a family rooted in love and mutual respect. Together, they raised two wonderful daughters – Anita and Elitza, instilling in them values of kindness, perseverance, and the joy of life. His role as a father was one he cherished deeply, evident in the love and care he extended to his children.
An avid lover of soccer and tennis, he not only enjoyed watching and playing these sports but also brought the same enthusiasm to his entrepreneurial endeavors. His businesses were a testament to his hard work, innovative spirit, and the ability to inspire those around him.
Perhaps his greatest joy came from being a grandfather. The immense love he held for his grandchildren knew no bounds, and in 2014, he made the significant decision to move across the world from Bulgaria to the USA. This move was a testament to his unyielding devotion to family, prioritizing the opportunity to be a part of his grandchildren's lives over everything else.
His departure has left an unfillable void in our hearts, but his legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion will forever remain. As we bid farewell to a man of honor and integrity, we celebrate the life he lived and the countless lives he touched. He will be dearly missed and remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know him.
Vesselin is survived by his loving wife – Penka, daughters: Anita and Elitza, grandchildren: Victoria, Brandon, Elizabeth, Nathan, Kristina, brothers Kiril and Dimitar, and sister Slavka.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Vasilka and Nadka.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Kansas University Medical Center for their care and compassion during his final days.
Rest in peace, dear father. Your memory will forever be a guiding light in our lives.
