Vera Hill

Vera Ann Siedenburg Hill, 83 of Overland Park, KS passed away Tuesday Nov, 19, 2013 at Freedom Point of Overland Park.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Vera was born March 16, 1930 in Bunceton, Mo to Herman and Emma Siedenburg. She was baptized April 13, 1930 at Zion Lutheran Church, Lone Elm, MO and was confirmed in the Christian faith April 2, 1944 also at Zion Lutheran Church. Vera was a charter member at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Olathe, KS.

Vera graduated from Bunceton High school in 1948 and attended Central Business College in Sedalia, MO. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for businesses in the Olathe area, retiring from Don's Body Shop.

Vera married Thomas Hill April 23, 1950 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lone Elm Missouri. She lived in Olathe, KS from 1956 until 2011 when she moved to Overland Park, KS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hill in 2012 and her sister Bernice. She is survived by her brother Arthur.

Vera will be greatly missed by her children Gary and wife Jeana, Greg and wife Paula, Steve and wife Michele, Loren and wife Cheryl and daughter Cindy Hill Schmitt, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
