Trijntje Mooy

Trijntje (Tineke) Mooy, 64 of Olathe, KS passed away Friday July 15, 2011 at Menorah Medical Center. The family suggests contributions to the ASPCA or the Kansas Humane Society.
Tineke was born August 30, 1946 in Alphen aan de Rijn, Netherlands. She emigrated from the Netherlands to Canada in 1966. She married Adrianus Mooy on July 30, 1966. She devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, and devoted grandmother. She was an accomplished artist, a Bible Study Fellowship Leader, a member of P.E.O, Chapter HL, and an avid lover of furry friends of all kinds.
She is preceded in death by her father Piet Sekeris. She is survived by her mother, Leentje Maria Sekeris and brother Robert (Angela) of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada; her husband Art, of the home, daughters Marguerite (Tim) Giger of Spring Hill, Ks, Jennifer (Joe) Marsch of Stockton, Mo, Ingrid (Karl) Sak of Clearwater, Ks and son, Steven (Angela) of Shawnee, Ks. She is also survived by LaCrisia Mims, beloved care taker and friend, 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Tineke will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, her love of life, and her determination to overcome adversity. She will be forever in our hearts.
