Tim Miller, 59, of Olathe, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side, on February 14, 2013. Tim was born on January 4, 1954 in Colchester, England to Kathleen and Leslie Miller. Tim attended Shawnee Mission East High School and later enlisted in the United States Air Force serving 7 years in Thailand.
Tim earned his Associate Degree in Nursing from Johnson County Community College in 1985. He practiced nursing at St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza and the Olathe Medical Center
Tim's hobbies included gardening and photography He was also a novice weather watcher.
Tim is survived by his parents, Leslie and Kathleen Miller; children, Heather and Luke Miller and their mother Connie; brother Clive Miller; sister Judith Taylor; and nephews Andrew and his family, and Jason.
The family would like to acknowledge their deep appreciation for the compassionate care provided by Ricci Karlin, RN and Laura Salveter LSCSW, LCSW and the entire staff of Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care.
The family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice.
