Thomas B. Hill, 86 of Olathe died Monday, December 31, 2012 at his home.
He was born on August 15, 1926 the son of Albert and Vera (Gimple) Hill in Sedalia, MO.
Tom was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Olathe. He worked as a supervisor at the Delco Battery Plant in Olathe for many years until he retired in 1983. He served in the United State Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Vera (Siedenburg) of the home; brother William (Bill) Hill of Olathe; sister, Mary Goodell of Fayetteville, MO; four sons Gary and wife Jeana, Big Pine Key, FL; Greg and wife Paula, Olathe; Steve and wife Michele, Olathe; Loren (Doug) and wife Cheryl, Overland Park; one daughter Cindy Hill Schmitt, Olathe; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family suggests contributions to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Olathe.
