Terence Patrick Sweeney
October 4, 1942 – November 25, 2012

Terence Patrick (Pat) Sweeney, Sr., age 70, beloved husband of Beverly Ann Sweeney for 52 years, loving father of Richard (Sharon) Sweeney and Debora (Mark) Brakeall, cherished grandfather of Lance and Courtney Sweeney and Brandon, Sean, and Colin Brakeall passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2012 surrounded by those he loved so much at his home in Prairie Village, Kansas after a prolonged illness. He was preceded in death by his sons Terence Sweeney, Jr. and Daniel Sweeney.

Pat was born on October 4, 1942 in Lansing, MI to Terence Joseph and Annabelle Sweeney. He married his high school sweetheart, Beverly Romick, in Hickman Mills, MO on May 5, 1960. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1960-1964. Pat enjoyed a lifelong career in the railroad and shipping logistics industries while employed by Alliance Shippers for over 20 years.

Pat dedicated his time and compassion to strengthening the lives of those around him and enjoyed coaching youth football and basketball. His most precious time was the time spent with his family. He enjoyed vacationing with the loves of his life - his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. Many memories were made on the beaches of South Padre Island and Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to Pat's life, memorials are suggested to the Mayo Clinic at www.mayoclinic.org or the charity of your choice.
