Tamara Jo Elleman, 50, of Overland Park, passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2020 at St. Luke's South Hospital.
Tamara was born July 12,1970 to Jack and Debbie Wagner. She was united in marriage to Curt Elleman on July 8th, 2000. From this union came two beautiful children, Alexandra Jo (AJ) and Wagner Wayne. Her entire life revolved around her children, she was always right there at every swim meet, softball or baseball game and everything in between.
Tamara had a passion for teaching. Earning her degree in education at the University of Kansas. She was a Jayhawk at heart. She continued her education at Friends University and graduated with a master's degree in business management. Tamara was a natural teacher. She touched many lives in her years of teaching preschool and most recently found her home as a Kindergarten teacher at Christ Lutheran.
Tamara had a heart of gold and a devotion to serve others. She was notorious for a perfectly clean house, purple nails and sparkly shoes. She was a force of nature that brought light to all of those around her. A loyal friend, wife, mother and daughter of Christ.
Tamara is survived by her loving husband, Curt, daughter, AJ Elleman, and son, Wagner Elleman, her parents Jack and Deborah Wagner, her sisters Jill Mankin (Jake) and Amanda Hayes (Russ), and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal, paternal grandparents and Verna Elleman.
Visitation will be held and open to the public Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church, Overland Park, KS. Attendees are asked to wear purple to the visitation in honor of Tamara's favorite color. Private Services for close family and friends will be held as well as live streamed from clcop.org on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 at 11:00
