Suzanne Whitted

Suzanne Elaine Whitted passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 21, 2015. She was 71 years old.

Suzanne Elaine Reinbold was born on November 28, 1943 to Edna and Raymond E. Reinbold in Osakis, Minn. She married Ivan Eugene Whitted in September 1960, with whom she loved to go fishing.

An avid bridge player throughout her life, she shared ownership of games at the Bridge Studio, Overland Park, Kansas and was a Gold Life Master bridge player. Sue was also Mrs. Bridge of Kansas City due to her numerous tournament wins. Her love of bridge was something she enjoyed sharing with and teaching to her wealth of family and friends.

What mattered most in life to Sue were the people she shared it with. She took great joy in telephone conversations with her family and friends and supporting her grandchildren as they played sports. She will be remembered as a woman who enjoyed helping people and making a difference to those she loved.

Sue was preceded in death by mother Edna, father Raymond, husband Ivan and sister Fern (Reinbold) Dinkel. She is survived by daughter Heather (Whitted) Brungardt and son-in-law Matt; granddaughter Madeline and grandson Benjamin; sisters Betty (Reinbold) Quintana (California) and Neva (Reinbold) Frank (Minnesota); many nieces and nephews; and too many friends to count.
