Susan Walsh, 51, continued her journey to Heaven on February 23, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Susan was born in Belton, Missouri, on January 16, 1966 to Datha Dillon and the late John Gay.
She married Steven Walsh on March 18, 1995, they were married for 21 loving years. It was a lovely, simple wedding at the home of her in-laws, Betty and Edmund Walsh. She worked at Hasbro Toy company for almost 20 years. This company designed the Nerf guns that she loved to get her three wonderful sons; Chris Jesmore, Nathan Jesmore, and Zach Walsh. She loved to watch them have their Nerf wars all over the house with their friends, she even helped to load their ammo and cheer them on laughing as they competed. Susan loved to watch the KU games with her boys and celebrate every time they won. Spending time with her grandson, Mason Jesmore filled her with smiles and love. In her spare time she enjoyed reading books and spending time with her family, friends and children.
Susan is survived by her loving husband Steven Walsh and her three children, Chris Jesmore, Nathan Jesmore, Zach Walsh, her grandson, Mason Jesmore, and her daughter-in-laws, Katherine Jesmore and Melissa Jesmore, her mother Datha Dillon, her oldest brother Fred Jundy and his wife Gina Jundy, older sister Patty Lewis, her older brother Robbie Gay, her loving in-laws; Edmund Walsh and his wife Betty Walsh, sister-in-law Patty Smith, and brother-in-law Eddie Walsh and his wife Robin Walsh. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father John Gay and her brother-in-law Don Smith.
