SUSAN ELIZABETH MOBERG, age 62, passed away December 20, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. A Memorial Service will be held on December 28, 2011 at 10:00 am at Advent Lutheran Church, 11800 W. 151st, Olathe, KS. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen Cancer Research.
Susan was born May 21, 1949 in Maryville, MO to R. Willie and Helen Shipley. She enjoyed teaching, and was employed by Center School District, Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, and Sylvan Learning Center.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, John Moberg, her daughter Karen Moberg, son John (Amy) Moberg, Jr, two grandsons, Nathaniel and Joshua Moberg, her sister Frances (Larry) Groff, brothers Marvin (Pat) Shipley, Donald Shipley, Bob (Deloris) Shipley, Bill Shipley, and her brother-in-law, Steve Moberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two infant siblings.
