Susan Meredith Hostetter

Susan Meredith Hostetter, 71, of Leawood, passed away on December 13, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital of Kansas City.
She was born on March 15, 1950 to John and Meredith (Yerkes) Peters at Marshalltown, IA.
Susan worked as a Special Education Teacher for Blue Valley and Kansas City, Kansas School Districts, and retired in 2016.
On January 6, 1973, she married Terry Monroe Hostetter, and they made their home in Clearlake, Iowa.
She was a wonderful and compassionate mother and wife, she loved spending time with her family.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Terry, daughters, Jaclyn Putzier Bell and Jennifer Wertzberger and her son Jonathan Hostetter, and grandchildren Kate Putzier, Matthew Putzier, Brooklyn Bell, Jackson Bell, Sloan Wertzberger, Stella Wertzberger and sisters, Carol Peters and Mary Peters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Meredith Peters, brother Terry Peters, and sister Patricia Peters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
