Stuart "Stu" Sundblom, 70, passed away on July 9, 2021 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
He was born on February 16, 1951 to Virgil and Helen Sundblom in Salina, Kansas, at Asbury Hospital.
He was an avid KU fan, after attending and graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Education degree in 1974.
Stu was married to Deborah Crawford in 1976, while residing in Salina. They then moved to Bennington, Kansas, where they lived until 1987. Deb and Stu moved to Olathe, where they began operations of Stuart Systems.
Stu and Deborah loved to travel to the Keys where they would go on fishing trips. They loved to spend time together, especially when it was on the water.
Deb passed away in 2017. Stu retired, and sold his business, giving him more time to spend at the lake doing what he loved. Fishing was a passion of his; a hobby he loved until the day of his passing.
Stu is survived by his brother Doug and his wife Johanna Sundblom. His brother-in-law Doug and wife Denise Crawford. Nephews, Eric Sundblom and Hunter Crawford. Nieces, Sadie Camac and Malorie Crawford. Great nephews, Zachary Sundblom, Tyson Radcliffe, and John Wayne Camac, and great nieces Clara Camac and Aspen Crawford. Along with many dear and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Helen Sundblom, and loving wife Deborah Sundblom.
