Steven Walter Derendinger, 56, of Merriam, was called home to be with the Lord. He was born on July 22, 1961 to Jack and Diane Derendinger at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor.
Steven worked for Amazon. He was a member of many churches, enjoyed doing community service, and was a devout Christian. Steve enjoyed sports, including the Wolverines, Lions, Redwings, and Pistons, but not the Spartans.
Surviving are his mother, Diane Harker; brothers, Gary Derendinger and Allen S. Derendinger; niece, Christa; and nephew, Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack; sister, Cathy; and nephew, Tray.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 10:00am in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley, KS.
