Stephen Ford Clay, 69, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm on Saturday, February 19th at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Black Bob Rd., Olathe, KS.
He was born on September 21, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas.
He enjoyed fishing, watching Chiefs football, spending time with friends and family, and old westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents Forda Bruce Clay & Maxine Tressie (Huff) Clay & brothers Robert Fox & brother Jay Clay.
Steve is survived by his daughter Ashley Sliger (Justin) and granddaughter Millie Sliger of Nixa, MO, sister Mary Hankins of Olathe, KS, brother David Clay of Adrian, MO and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to help defray funeral costs. Checks need to be made payable to Ashley Sliger, not Penwell-Gabel please.
