Stephanie L. Crone

Stephanie L. Crone, 63, of Olathe, Kansas passed away April 28, 2014 at her home. Stephanie was born November 2, 1950, to Bonnie and Chester Edmundson in Sigourney Iowa. Graduated from Mid Prarie Highschool in Wellman, IA 1969. She worked at Owens toothbrush factory from 1969 – 1980 while her husband finished his college degree.

Stephanie graduated with an Associate Degree Science in Nursing from Kankakee Community College, Kankakee, IL in 1984. She had a rewarding 30 year Nursing Career. Her titles included; Floor Nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, Travel Nursing Consultant, & Vice President of Nursing. The Last 10 years of her career was spent at Bishop Spencer Place in Kansas City, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents Chet and Bonnie Edmundson, and nephew Nicholas Edmundson.

Survivors include her husband Allen Crone; brother Reed (Chris) Edmundson of College Station, Tx; children Shane (Yukari) Crone of Westchester, IL, Aaron (Beth) Crone of Olathe, KS, Kelley (Rob) Smith of Olathe, KS, and Mark Hall of Olathe, KS; grandchildren Kaede & Hayate Crone, Desiree (Ben) Riggs, Brandon Hipps, Stephanie, Alana & Cooper Crone, Mikayla, Maddie & Reed Smith, Luke & Cambria Hall, and lots of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, dear friends and her "Baby" Mia.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Bishop Spencer Place, 4301 Madison Ave, Kansas City, MO 64111.
