Stanley D. Hughes, 61, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Stan was born in Olathe, Kansas to the late Bob and Mary Hughes. He graduated from Olathe High School in 1974.
He is survived by his brothers; Eric Hughes (Charlene), Curby Hughes (Denise), and Keith Hughes (Lisa); four nieces, one nephew and a son, Riley Young . Stan was also a great-uncle to his nieces' three children.
During his life, Stan worked at Jack Henry's on the Plaza, Hughes Shoes, Olathe Ford, Pickering's Bar and Grill, Jury's Inn, and Hy-Vee Catering. He also ran his own business, Around the Town Catering. Stan was a member of the Olathe Jaycees and the Olathe Alumni Association.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Olathe Health Charitable Foundation to benefit the Olathe Medical Center.
