Somsavath "Vee" Venevongsoth, 40 of Olathe, KS passed away Thursday July 28, 2011 surrounded by the love of his family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations and contributions can be made to the family at the funeral home. Vee was born March 4, 1971 in Pakse, Laos to Souksavath and Outhay Venevongsoth. He moved to Kansas at the age of 13 in 1984 and graduated Olathe North in 1990 . Vee lived his life to the fullest touching the lives of many who had the opportunity to meet him. Sincere smiles and laughter were never far from his side blessing him with friends that would last a lifetime. Growing up in the 80's blessed him with a passion for music. He loved to sing and to play his guitar, but above all, his true passion was his family. Vee lived everyday for his family instilling love and care with no hesitation and that is what truly made him a great man. He is survived by his parents Souksavath and Outhay Venevongsoth, sisters Rattana Phouangphet, Sompathana Venevongsoth, brother Somsavanh Venevongsoth, niece Rebecca Phouangphet, four nephews Jesse Phouangphet, Jacob, Jason and Justin Venevongsoth.
