The almighty God in His infinite wisdom gently closed the eyes of Shirley Mae Summers and entered her into eternal rest Friday March 4, 2016. To join her ALWAYS and FOREVER Donald K. Summers who passed Aug. 25, 2015.
Shirley Mae Summers was born on Feb 9, 1951 in Gardner, KS to Paul and Shirley Zaring. She was the 5th of 10 children. Raised in De Soto, KS. She graduated from De Soto High School.
She was united in marriage to Donald Summers. They were married for 46 years and had 2 daughters.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Donald Keith Summers, her parents Paul and Shirley Zaring, brothers Jerry and Richard Zaring; sister-in-laws Louise Zaring and Susan Zaring; neice Robin Denell Fields.
She is survived by her daughters Tammy (Zsolt) Gomory of Fayettville, AR and Stacie (Shawn) Shipps of Gardner, KS. Grandsons; Brendan, Mason and Seth Eli Shipps. Granddaughters; Lanah Shipps, Zoe, Viktoria, and Julianna Gomory. Brothers; LeeRoy, Steven and Paul (Laura) Zaring. Sisters; Pauline (Larry) Vitt, Jane (Tom) Twidwell, Sandra (Mike) Erwin, and Rita Fields and LOTS of nieces and nephews.
