Shirley Jean Ruebhausen

Shirley Jean Ruebhausen, 89, of Olathe, passed away on July 28, 2024 at Good Samaritan.
She was born on August 23, 1934 to Otto and Dorothy (Buchanan) Ruebhausen at Leavenworth, KS.
Shirley graduated from Bethany School of Nursing in 1955 and worked as a Registered Nurse for 50 years. She was an outstanding cardiac nurse. She also enjoyed a teaching career in nursing, serving as an educator.
Shirley was a die-hard fan of the KC Chiefs. She enjoyed traveling with her good friends, and spending time with her many sweet cats.
Shirley is survived by her loving sister-in-law Bonnie M Ruebhausen, sister-in-law Patty Ruebhausen, her many nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Otto Ruebhausen, Jerry Ruebhausen, and Doug Ruebhausen.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or LAWS ( Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society).
