Shirley A. Porter, 81, of Olathe, KS passed away Friday January 27, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Hospice of Olathe Medical Center or the Morris Animal Foundation.
Shirley was born June 22, 1930 in Dawson, PA to Edison and Ruth Stakelbeck.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stacy Porter in 2005, her son Scott Porter in 1960, her parents and a niece Stephanie Duff.
She is survived by her daughter Stacie Lindsey, of Olathe, KS. One granddaughter Jessica Lindsey and three grandsons Blake, Tyler and Cole Lindsey. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Duff of Mount Pleasant, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
