Shirley Drennan

SHIRLEY ANN DRENNAN, age 72, passed away December 29, 2007 at her home in Olathe, KS. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5 at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Church, 201 E. Loula, Olathe, where the family will receive friends an hour prior to service time. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church.

Shirley was born April 18, 1935 in Hastings, Nebraska, to Lyle and Evelyn Athey. She graduated from high school in Springfield, Missouri, and was employed for many years with J.C. Penney's. Shirley was very active within her church, and loved to play bingo. Above all, she was a care-giver to many of her family members over the years, and will be deeply missed.

Surviving are her children; Bud Mocco, Dan Mocco, Mel Mocco, Joe Mocco, Kimberley Myrick, and Shirley Webber, grandchildren; Steve, Kelly, Brandon, Nick, Lauren, Brian, Tim, Tom, Tony, Amanda, Joey, and great-grandchildren; Daniel, Sara, Jared, Austin, Emma, Mykal, and Jared. Also surviving are her sister, Pat Blitgen, and brothers Tom Athey and Bill Athey.
