Sheila Sue Teal, 75, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. She was born on November 4, 1949 in Hays, Kansas to Clarence and Winifred (Rigby) Davis.

She was a proud graduate of Hays High School and Fort Hays State University, where she earned a BS degree in Library Science. Later, she pursued further education, obtaining a Mini Masters from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Sheila was married twice, first to Jan Wielert in Hays, Kansas, and later to Larry Teal in Wichita, Kansas.

Sheila spent 31 years of her career at Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation, where she worked in various roles, ultimately becoming the Supervisor of the Management Training Program. Throughout her life, Sheila called Hays, Andover, and Olathe, Kansas, home. In her spare time, she loved to stay active, enjoying exercise, tennis, shopping, boating and travel. She deeply cherished her time spent with family and friends. Sheila will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Teal, children, Annette (Andrew) Warburton of Murrieta, CA and Christopher (Amme) Weilert of Edmond, OK, five grandchildren, Dominic Richmond, Jonathan Warburton, Flynn Weilert, Crew Weilert, and Golden Weilert, and a sister Patricia (Les) Morgan of Topeka, Kansas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
