Sharon Schnake

November 12, 1946 — January 7, 2015

Sharon Elaine Schnake, 68, of Olathe died peacefully on Wed. Jan. 7, 2015 at her home surrounded by family. Catholic Funeral Mass will be held Sat. Jan. 10th at 10am, Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Olathe, KS. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation and rosary will take place Friday 6-8pm at the church.
Sharon was born Nov. 12, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to Jesse and Frances Hugunin, the youngest of 11 children. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Jesse Jr., Ruth, Gene, Ronald, Glenn, Cecil, and Mike. Sharon devoted her life to raising her family. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Alvin "Gene" Schnake, her seven children, Brett, Noel, Heidi, Penelope, Paige, Brigette, and Storm, her 20 grandchildren, and her three siblings, Charlotte, Vincent, and Gary.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Vitae Foundation.
