SAMUEL MARVIN VAUGHN
a resident of Royal Terrace Care Center in Olathe, KS, passed away October 26, 2005. Private family services will be held at a later date. Remembrances are suggested to Royal Terrace Care Center, 201 E. Flaming Rd. Olathe, KS 66061 or to the American Heart Association.
Sam was born on August 1, 1942 in Independence, KS to Ernest and Lola Vaughn. He attended Independence Schools, eventually settling in the Olathe area in the late 1960's. He was a long-time employee of Oxford Place Steakhouse, and enjoyed bowling in his spare time.
He is survived by his brothers Frank (Viola) Vaughn and Richard ( Susan) Vaughn, both of Olathe, KS, sisters Betty Ramsey of Chanute, KS, Bernadean Lowery and Lorraine Ecret, both of Pawnee, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother John Vaughn, three half-brothers, Lawrence, Lee, and Edward, and a half-sister, Henrietta.
He is loved and will be greatly missed.
