Sam Griffin, Jr.,age 62, Linn Valley, KS, passed away January 16, 2019. He previously resided in Olathe, KS for most of his adult life.
He was the son of the late Sam Sr. and Ruth Griffin. He is survived by his wife Christine Griffin , Linn Valley, KS; his children Betty Parkes, O'Fallon, MO, Sam Griffin, III, Overland Park, KS, Erica Unger, Gardner, KS, Valerie Griffin, Gardner, KS, Nicole Dougan, Gardner, KS, and two stepsons, Richard Stringer, Webb City, MO and Randal Stringer, Glen Ellyn, IL. And 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Sam was an owner of Griffin Home Improvement. Previously he co-owned C&S Construction, Imagination Floral & Juniors Plumbing. He also was a certified backhoe operator 101 Local & had worked for various companies that specialized in fiber optic cable.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 2, at 1:00 pm in Linn Valley Lakes, KS at the clubhouse.
