Sally Jo Allenbrand, 71, went home to be with the Lord November 22, 2007, in Olathe, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to the church in her name.
Sally was born July 8, 1936 in De Soto, Kansas. She was a graduate of DeSoto High School. She was a devoted stay-at-home mother, grandmother and Nana. She loved crafts, plants, watching grandchildren play, and traveling.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Olathe where she was married 51 years ago to her best friend, Edwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy & Alma Randall.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Edwin L. Allenbrand; children, Richard & wife Lori Allenbrand of Stockton, MO, Vickie & husband Frank Jestice of Olathe, KS, Kevin Allenbrand of Olathe, KS; a daughter by choice, Debbie Allenbrand; grandchildren, Justin (Brook) Allenbrand, Sarah (Brian) Wood, Brent (Vannessa) Jestice, Kyle Allenbrand; great grandchildren, Chance, Cole & Luke Allenbrand, Teagan & Brennigan Jestice; sisters, Alice Allenbrand, Nancy Kinsey, Becky Padrick; and a brother, Jim Randall.
She was a gentle Christian woman who loved to read her Bible. Spending time with the family was her greatest joy.
