Ryan Machamer

December 5, 1989 — December 25, 2024

Ryan Machamer, born of December 5, 1989, in Manhattan, Kansas, passed away suddenly on Christmas morning, December 25, 2024. He was a cherished son and brother, leaving behind a loving family that includes his dad, Doug Machamer, his mom, Barb Machamer, his older brother, Justin Machamer, his twin sister, Meagan Stambaugh, his brother-in-law Dennis Stambaugh, his aunt and uncle, Sherry and Dave Balding, and their son Kevin Balding. He was preceded in death by his for grandparents and his Aunt Dottie who all held an important place in his life.

Throughout his life, Ryan was always known for his vibrant spirit and dedication to those he cared about. His time in Cub Scouts, and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, fostered numerous friendships, created lasting memories and shaped much of the young man he became. Ryan's passion for life was evident in everything he did, from his career pursuits to his time spent with family and friends.

As an individual, Ryan embodied kindness and compassion, often lending a hand to others and making a difference in their lives. Two examples of this are jobs he held at Greenwood Terrace Retirement Community and Olathe East High School. At Greenwood he had a gift working with the senior citizens who resided there, often treating them to his new baked-goods creations. He had a strong desire to work as a baker and share his creative ideas (watch out Heaven!). At Olathe East, he worked as a Para 3 in classrooms with non-verbal students, and some with mild to severe disabilities. He lit up while working with them and loved them with all his heart.

While his passing leaves a profound void, not only for his parents, but for Justin and Meagan and the close bond they had with him. Ryan's memory will endure through the impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him. The love his family and friends felt for him will forever be a testament to his character and the legacy he leaves behind. As they navigate this difficult time, they find comfort in the countless moments shared and the unbreakable bonds formed.

Ryan will be remembered not only for his devotion to family and friends, but also for the wonderful memories he created along the way. He will be dearly missed, but forever celebrated in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and know they will be reunited again.
