Ruth Ann Simcox, 68, passed Mon. Oct. 3, 2016 in Harrisonville, MO.
Ruth Ann was born Nov. 20, 1947 in Logan, Ohio to James Richard "Dick" and Delilah "Dee" Simcox. After growing up in Ohio and graduating from Muskingum College, she went on to Northwestern for her Masters and sang in the Lyric Opera of Chicago. She enjoyed traveling and sailing, and loved a good steak.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1979 and her mother in 2013. She is survived by her daughter Laura Dee Hotalling and husband Nick of Peculiar, MO, two grandchildren, Xander and Alera, and two brothers, Richard and David. (Arr: ARA Cremation, Overland Park, KS)
