Ruth Rohlman

Ruth Elenore Rohlman, 97, formerly of Olathe, KS, passed away on April 27, 2022, in Flower Mound, TX.
She was born on February 14, 1925, to Niles and Irene (Tram) Stutchburg at Rochester, NY.
After graduation from Nazareth College in Rochester, Ruth earned her master's degree in nursing from Yale University in Connecticut. This was followed by a career as head nurse of a hospital and then a pediatric nurse in private practice before retiring in 1965 when they started their family.
On July 11, 1964, she married Bertram Rohlman, and they began their family in Detroit. Moving to Atlanta briefly, Chicago, and finally Olathe, KS where they lived for 29 years. Not long after Bert's passing, Ruth went to live with her daughter in Flower Mound, TX in 2009.
She was an active member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, enjoyed many activities of the various groups in the church she belonged, volunteered at Olathe Medical Center, and enjoyed her friends and bridge groups.
Ruth is survived by her children, Judith Anne (Jodi) Hendry, and James Andrew (Drew) Rohlman and his wife Angela Rohlman (of Thornton, CO), grandchildren: Hunter Rohlman, Heath Rohlman, Teresa Hendry, Bridget Hendry, Luke Hendry, Elizabeth Hendry, and Sarah Hendry. Ruth didn't have any brothers or sisters but was also survived by a couple cousins and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertram Rohlman, her parents, and their daughter, Margaret Mary (Meg) Rohlman who died in 1974.
