Russell Eldon Johnson, age 72, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on January 27, 2015.
He was born on July 13, 1942 in Mound City, KS to Beuford and Evelyn Johnson, the youngest of four brothers.
He lettered in Track and Field in high school, and went on to serve our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Russell was a life-long member in good standing of the Spring Hill Masonic Lodge, and the Abdullah Shrine. He retired after a 26-year career with General Motors.
He leaves behind his wife, Pat, son Richard Johnson and family, daughter Lori Elston and family, and stepchildren Steve and Shawn Klingler and family, four grandchildren, and his brother Dale and wife Charlotte and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Richard and Eddie Johnson.
