Rosanna Parker Jones, of Leawood, KS, died Friday, March 25, 2016, with her family by her side. Rosanna was born on December 12, 1947 in Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her father John Parker, mother Rosemary and brother Harry.
Rosanna is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jeffrey C. Jones; daughter Lauren Kaiser (Mike); grandson Evan Kaiser; granddaughter Anna Kaiser; sister Marietta Parker (Alan Dubois); brothers John Parker (Piedad) and Steve Parker (Yuli), along with many nieces and nephews.
A life-long resident of the Kansas City area and a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Rosanna was a vice president at Midland Loan Services, a division of PNC Financial Services, where she had been employed for the past 26 years. She was also a licensed real estate broker in Kansas and Missouri.
There will be a private gathering of family and friends at Blue Hills Country Club, 777 W. Burning Tree Dr., Kansas City, MO, on Friday, April 1, 2016, at 4:00 pm. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff of Good Shepherd Hospice, 11253 Strang Line Rd., Lenexa, KS 66215, and St. Luke's Hospice House, 3516 Summit, K.C., MO 64111 for their loving care. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to either of these organizations: KU Cancer Center, 2650 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Westwood, KS 66205 or the charity of your choice.
