Rosa Roeser passed away Dec. 18, 2007 in Overland Park, KS of natural causes at the age of 91.
Rosa was born on April 30, 1916 in Vienna, Austria to Stephan and Rosa Maria Schubert. She spent a happy childhood in Vienna with her parents, brother and sisters.
Rosa married John W. Roeser in 1950 and they were married for almost 44 years. They lived in Austria, Germany, Frances, Turkey, New York, New Jersey and several other states before retiring in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Rosa later moved to Overland Park to be closer to her daughter and her family.
Rosa was a homemaker and loved her children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends. She loved to knit, ski, hike, bowl, dance, cook, and listen to classical music.
Rosa is survived by her daughter Suzanne (James) Bessler, son William (Cynthia); grandchildren Allison (Patrick) Mitchell and Joseph; and niece Traute (Anton) Lipovics.
Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Rosa's name can be made to the Dementia/Alzheimer's Foundation.
A ROSARY WILL BE RECITED AT 7pm on FRIDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
