Ronnie Joe Mosier, born on August 22, 1943, in Towanda, Kansas passed away peacefully in Olathe on December 23, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family. Ron’s professional life was in the banking business. He served as a bank officer starting in Neodesha, KS before moving on to Wichita, KS and finishing his career as a bank president in Oklahoma City. During his retirement, he opened a consulting business.
Ron initially started out to become a teacher. He attended Independence Community College, Emporia State University and finished at Wichita State University. He was the first member of his family to earn a college degree. Upon accepting a job at a bank after graduation, he continued his education by earning a master's degree from the prestigious Rutgers School of Business.
During his college years, he met the love of his life, Janice Kay Ogden. They were married on February 28, 1965, and spent nearly 60 years together. They shared a love of golf, traveling and attending sporting events. Their travels took them all across the country and Ron managed to visit every state (except for Delaware).
He was preceded in death by his wife Janice, his parents Lloyd and Doris, his brother Jerry and sister Linda.
Cremation is planned. Private family services will be held at a later date.
