Ronda Kay Fultz

November 8, 1966 — April 22, 2021

Ronda Kay Fultz, 54, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021. She was born on November 8, 1966 in Belton, Missouri to Ron and Kay (Hawkins) David.

Ronda grew up in Hannibal, MO. She went to college at Culver-Stockton where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business. After college, she moved to KCMO to live with her aunt Sherry and worked retail. That aunt introduced her to her future husband, Derek Fultz. After a couple years of retail, she got hired on at Sprint where she eventually became Project Manager. Derek and Ronda solidified their relationship in marriage in 1991, and started their family in Olathe, KS in 1993, when they had their daughter, Alex. Their family grew in 1998, when they had their son, Brandon. So Ronda could be involved more in her kids' school lives, she started working from home at Premier Global Services setting up court conference calls across the country. She has always had a soft spot for animals that needed loving homes, so her house has never been without rescued dogs. With her family, she enjoyed gardening, nights around the fire pit, vacations, walks through parks, watching March Madness (her favorite time of year), and going to KU games, especially when her kids attended the school. More than anything she enjoyed activities that allowed her to have family time.

Ronda is survived by her loving husband, Derek Fultz; son, Brandon Fultz; daughter, Alex Fultz; father and step-mother, Ron and Becky David; mother and step-father, Kay and Jerry Elledge; sister, Marnee David; brother, Derrick David; and step-sister Raygan Janes.

She is preceded in death by her aunt, Sherry Hawkins and father-in-law, Larry Fultz.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Tuesday, April 27 from 1-5 pm.

The family requests that contributions in Ronda's memory be made to KC Pet Project, Wayside Waifs, or to Great Plains SPCA.
