Ronald E. Oakes, 56, of Olathe, KS passed Wed. July 12, 2017 in St. Louis, MO.
Ron was born July 14, 1960 in Kansas City, MO to James and Donna Oakes. He grew up in Missouri and Oklahoma. He graduated from High School in Tulsa Oklahoma. He resided in Olathe, KS with his wife, daughter, stepdaughter and step granddaughters. He worked for General Motors at the Fairfax plant. He was a member of the Refuge Church in Liberty, MO.
He was preceded in death by his father James Edwin Oakes.
He is survived by his mother Donna Sue Oakes, wife Wendy Ann Oakes, and his children Isaiah Joel Oakes, Elizabeth Joy Young, Bethany Hope Oakes, two grandchildren, two step daughters, and five step grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Tellus Dean Oakes and family, and James Allen Oakes and his family.
