RONALD DEAN MINER, Sr., age 72, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2011 in Kansas City, Kansas.
Ron was born August 29, 1938 in Midland, Michigan to Virgil and Pauline Miner. He retired from American Home Products in 1993 after 33 years of service. Ron was a member of the Water Garden Society Board and the Johnson County Master Gardner Advisory Board.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Karen Miner, his children Ronald (Lori) Miner, Jr., Kevin (Tammie) Miner, and Jennifer (Mark) Ruhnke, seven grandchildren; Ryan Miner, Ashley Miner, Amber Miner, Megan Miner, Adam Miner, Leo Ruhnke, and Emilyn Ruhnke, his brothers Virgil Miner, Chuck Miner and Bobby Miner, and his sisters Karol Eubanks and Gayle Stark.
