Ron was born May 18, 1928 in Stanley, Kansas to Robert and Anna Johnson Dougan. He served our country in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Spring Hill United Methodist Church and the Spring Hill American Legion.
Ron was self-employed most of his career, working as a heavy-equipment operator and also a dump-truck operator. He enjoyed a life-long passion for automobiles, particularly the classics. Ron was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Doris, in 2011, and his parents Robert and Anna Dougan, his brothers Keith, Leroy (Bud), Charles (Shorty), Myron (Chess), and Donald, and sisters Violet Dougan, Lois Head, Mildred Dougan, Arlie (Marie) Bell, Zona Ambrose and Esther (Topsy) Huff.
