RONALD SAMUEL BOYD, age 56, passed away February 22, 2008, at his home in Stilwell, KS. Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation of Kansas & Western Missouri, 6405 Metcalf Avenue, Ste 204, Overland Park, KS 66202.
Ronald was born December 28, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to George and Barbara Boyd. He served our country in the Air Force Reserves, and was Assistant Chief of the Stanley Volunteer Fire Department. He owned and operated Ron Boyd Construction for over twenty years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring classic and collectible vehicles.
He is survived by his son, Jason Boyd, his daughter, Cindy, his parents George ( Betty) Boyd, his brother, Todd (June) Boyd, sisters Sharon Williams, Vicki (Steve) Honack. He is also survived by one grand-daughter, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara, in 1992.
